The Bullfrogs Click for Season 2010 Fixtures & Game Laws The Kenmore Bullfrogs were one of the Foundation member teams of the South East Queensland Golden Oldies organisation (now called Veterans Rugby QLD ) in about 1984. We were originally called the Fosters Fathers and played in blue and white hooped jerseys at Akuna Oval. At some point in the late 80's the Club moved to Sylvan Road and became the Wests Bullfrogs.

They remained there until about 2000 when they returned to their spiritual home at Kenmore. At this point we were still playing in green and gold Harlequin Jerseys. In about 2004 we became Kenmore Bullfrogs and changed the jersey to black and red Harlequin. There have been a couple of new kits since then but always in red and black.
The Club is kindly sponsored by the Pig & Whistle at Indooroopilly and is a friendly and welcoming group for new players. There is a long history of Kenmore Junior dads coaching and being office bearers for the juniors as well as being active playing members of the "Froggies". There are currently 12 existing or former Kenmore Bears dads in the squad!
We play in the competitive level of Vets rugby (see Laws) albeit that we have at least 8 players well into their 50s.
The Froggies have played in 4 Pan Pacific Masters Competitions on the Gold Coast, held bi-annually and have remained unbeaten since 2006.
We travel on bus trips to away games with overnight stops to play against teams that don't get the chance otherwise like Warwick, Dalby and Toowoomba, most of these games are played at the purely social/fun level and are filled with entertainment and relaxation!
